Fishing Lake Erie has always been a life long passion, Capt. Jeff is a full time charter captain with almost 20 years experience as a licensed guide & USCG captain. He runs Walleye & Perch charters 7 days a week starting in April and ending the season in November. Lake Erie facts





Lake Erie is the 4th largest of the Great Lakes however it is the smallest by volume and the shallowest. Erie is 241 miles long & 54 miles wide with a surface area of 9,910 sq miles (4.9 million acres). Erie has 3 basins the Western Basin is the shallowest, Central averages 62ft, Eastern is deepest with 210ft areas. There is more eatable fish in Erie than all the other Great Lakes combined. Erie discharges over Niagara Falls.
